Electric scooter manufacturer Ather Energy has entered into a strategic partnership with Infineon Technologies AG, a global leader in semiconductor solutions, to enhance EV innovation through advanced chip design and technology integration. The MoU was signed in Seoul, signaling a high-level global collaboration aimed at India's booming EV ecosystem.

Collaboration Highlights

  • Focus on high-performance power electronics and motor control solutions for Ather's electric two-wheelers.

  • Infineon will provide semiconductor components to boost efficiency, battery management, and thermal stability.

  • Aims to accelerate localization of EV technology and reduce import dependency.

  • The partnership includes joint R&D efforts, and Infineon will also support Ather’s design optimization.
